 HYDRODYNAMIC BEARINGS FOR WHEELS
Use of hydrodynamic bearings in the wheel spindle insure steady
grinding and greater accuracy in grinding machines.
 HANDSCRAPED WAYS
Precision handscraped ways assure that the table is satisfactorily
lubricated at all times and insure precision and a long table
life.
 FORCED
LUBRICATION TO ALL WAYS
All Orion grinding machines have a fine lubricating system to
insure the machine's accuracy and life.
The Orion forced lubrication system dispenses the proper amount
of oil in sufficient quantities at regulated intervals. A bell
sounds when the oil is low and reminds the operator to re-fill
the reservoir
 REPEATABILITY OF WHEELHEAD
Use of grinding class cross feed screw rod which is high accuracy,
high power and long life in the driving system. It insures the
wheelhead's steady driving and greater repeatability, to +/-
0.0001".
